Planned, designed and implemented 20,000 sq/ft warehouse electrical plan for nuclear plant parts facility.
Synergy Group, LLC is located in Waynesboro, GA and operates as a holding facility for parts used at Plant Vogtle. The Vogtle Electric Generating Plant, located in eastern Georgia near the South Carolina border, is one of Georgia Power's two nuclear facilities and is one of three nuclear facilities in the Southern Company system. Lite Electric was awarded this job in June and worked over 3 months to clean up and repair this previously dormant location to safe operating condition. In the facility's main building, Lite Electric added an 800 AMP service for the purposes of powering up Synergy's fork lifts which required additional power that the facility did not have. Lite Electric planned the electrical layout for this service, ran conduit and piping overhead in the ceiling rafters, wired / installed panel and connected all circuits & breakers. In Synergy's secondary building, Lite Electric retrofitted the electrical, added high bay light fixtures, repaired damaged lights, outlets and switches.
